Heat fans have gotten to see some great teams in Miami over the last 15-20 years.
They've seen several of their rosters make it to the NBA Finals, with a few getting the job done and taking home a title.
The last couple of years haven't been ideal for Miami, as they have some work to do to get back to being a playoff threat in the East.
They've been rumored to be in the running for Giannis Antetokounmpo, but that acquisition could open the door for another massive move to take place in Miami.
NBA analyst suggests possibility of Heat signing Donovan Mitchell after a Giannis trade
On a recent podcast, Zach Lowe broke down the hypothetical scenario of what the Heat's team would look like if they acquired Giannis in a trade.
It would deplete their depth quite a bit, but it would give them an incredible frontcourt by pairing a former MVP/DPOY to play with Bam Adebayo (assuming Adebayo isn't traded).

The only thing they would be missing is likely a guard, and Lowe is eying down the massive names that the Heat could go after in free agency during the 2027 offseason.
The name he suggested was Donovan Mitchell, who hasn't been able to make a conference finals appearance during his time in Cleveland.
Mitchell is under contract next season, but has a player option for the following season.
This is when the Heat could make the move they've been waiting to make for years, by getting a big name that hits the free agency market, and forming a serious 'big three' once again in South Beach.
It's a long way down the line, and factors like the Cavs' performance this year and next year could play a huge role, but it's a fascinating idea in prospect.
