Arne Slot has been handed an injury blow before the visit of Newcastle United
Newcastle United return to Premier League action against Liverpool at Anfield, with fitness continuing to plague the hosts. At the same time the Magpies were battling Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Arne Slot's side were facing Qarabag.

The summer signing received treatment from physios before the decision was made to bring on Wataru Endo in his place. After the victory, Slot said: "He will be out for a period of time.
