Embiid and the 76ers are on the hunt for a potential title run this 2025-26 season.
It seems that Joel Embiid wants Daryl Morey and the rest of the Philadelphia 76ers leadership to do something.

Speaking to reporters after their 113-111 win over the Sacramento Kings, Embiid dropped key words to the 76ers brass ahead of the Feb. 5 trade deadline.
"In the past, we've been ducking the tax, so hopefully we think about improving [the team at the deadline], because we got a chance," he said, via Derek Bodner of PHLY Sports.
"I hope that at least we get a chance to just go out and compete, because we got a good group of guys in this locker room, and the vibes are great."
Following last season's disappointing finish, Embiid and the 76ers have reemerged back to contention this year. With a 26-21 record, they are just 3.0 games away from climbing as high as the No. 2 seed of the Eastern Conference ladder.
Tyrese Maxey is playing a superstar-type of basketball with a career-best 29.4 points average, while Embiid is gradually regaining his old MVP form for Philadelphia in his recent games.
The East is wide open this year. In their case, the 76ers have a genuine shot to compete for a title. Beyond any other potential deals that can be made, Embiid and Philly have to remain healthy for a long road ahead.
It remains to be seen whether the Sixers front office will orchestrate some moves, but it's fully clear that Embiid doesn't want to let this season slip away.
