Yan Diomande has been linked with a move to Liverpool for several months now.
With Mohamed Salah’s long-term future in doubt, the Reds may need to start assessing their options when it comes to replacing the Egyptian.
On that front, the 19-year-old RB Leipzig talent has had a solid season so far and would be open to an Anfield switch.

Brajan Gruda open to joining Liverpool
Brighton and Hove Albion signed Brajan Gruda from Mainz in August 2024 for £25m [BBC].
He is under contract at the Amex until the summer of 2028, but in an interview with Sky Germany this week, he admitted he wants to play for a top club like Liverpool.

On his career goals, he said: “My biggest dream is to play in the Champions League and be a full international.
“I want to play for a top club like Bayern, Real, Barcelona or Liverpool.”
Gruda was also asked about previous interest from Bayern Munich, but gave little away in his answer.
He stated: “There was interest at the beginning, of course. But I can’t say more than that.”

Could Brajan Gruda replace Mohamed Salah?
Even if Salah doesn’t leave in 2026, he is still set to be out of contract at Anfield in 2027.
That leaves Liverpool with just under 18 months to find a long-term replacement for the winger.
However, while Gruda is a promising talent and has shown signs of promise in the Premier League already, he may not be what the Reds need.
Salah has carried the team on his back for many years, providing a good chunk of their goal contributions in each campaign.
Gruda, however, has never had an amazing goal or assist return, currently sitting on one goal and one assist from 18 Premier League matches this term.
