Chelsea have reached a full agreement to send teenage sensation Kendry Paez on loan to River Plate after cutting short his spell in Ligue 1, it has been revealed in the media this week.
The 18-year-old has been recalled from Strasbourg to join the Argentine giants immediately, with CHELSEA sanctioning the move to ensure their prized asset secures regular first-team football under Marcelo Gallardo.
he future of one of South America’s brightest talents has been resolved swiftly by Chelsea’s hierarchy. According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have formally agreed a season-long loan deal with River Plate, which will see the Ecuadorian midfielder ply his trade at the Estadio Mas Monumental.
IcChelseanews says…
Paez is a great young talent, he came to CHELSEA will big hopes of trying to break into that Blues side, to make an impact and possibly push on to reach his full potential. But that move to Stamford Bridge was far too early for the lad.
He is never going to get a real chance to prove himself at the club at this stage of his career, and we hope that this move to Europe has not ruined the exciting talent that he has in that body.
The Blues have a habit of signing the best young players around, then sending them on loan for the next few seasons until the player is virtually forgotten about and then sold on.
But we are hoping that Paez heads to River Plate, gets his groove back and then comes back to Stamford Bridge really ready to try and make an impact, we really want to see this lad succeed because he is a serious talent.
So we wish him the best and hope he gets the game time he needs.
