Liverpool will hope to build on their 6-0 hammering of Qarabag in the Champions League when they face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday night.
Arne Slot’s side have endured a frustrating season so far and look set to fail in their quest to retain the top flight title, however they cruised to an emphatic 6-0 win over Azerbaijani side Qarabag on Wednesday.
The Reds finished comfortably inside the top eight of the 36-team Champions League group phase table, and therefore qualify automatically for the knockout stages of the competition.
Now, it is emerging that the Merseyside outfit are eyeing an audacious move to sign a La Liga superstar.
As per CaughtOffside, Liverpool are considering making a move to sign highly rated Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
The report claims that the Reds have joined Premier League leaders Arsenal in showing interest in the France international, who can play at left-back as well as in his more natural midfield role.

Camavinga, 23, joined Real from French side Rennes back in 2021 and has since made more than 200 appearances for the club across all competitions.
Despite interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool, the report also suggests that Real regard Camavinga as a crucial player and may not even entertain the idea of parting ways with the player.
While some sources are said to have said that the player could be available for a fee in the region of £90 million, the report also claims that Real may not sell the player at any price, such is his importance.
Camavinga is contracted to Real Madrid until the end of the 2028/29 season, but it is claimed that Liverpool’s interest in the Frenchman is serious.
