Match for Hope 2026 full line-up and everything you need to know
Match for Hope 2026 is the "Final Showdown" of the charity football trilogy, held on January 30, 2026, at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Qatar. Organised by Q Life and the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, the match unites legendary football icons and the world’s biggest content creators to raise millions for out-of-school children in countries like Palestine, Sudan, and Haiti.
Team Chunkz are captained by the popular British entertainer Chunkz , who is looking to settle the 1-1 series tie-break once and for all. He is joined by an elite defence and attack featuring Real Madrid legend Marcelo, Chelsea icon Eden Hazard, and the fierce Diego Costa.
The squad also features YouTube heavyweights such as the engineering expert Mark Rober, the high-energy Angry Ginge, and Brazilian viral sensation Luva de Pedreiro. These creators bring a massive global following to the pitch, combining digital influence with the athletic prowess of their professional team-mates.
Rounding out the team are prominent content creators like Tobi Brown and Manny Brown, as well as American streamer Lacy and regional favourite Mohamad Adnan. Under the tactical guidance of legendary manager Arsene Wenger, this team focuses on technical flair and creative playmaking.
Team AboFlah is led by the Kuwaiti content creator AboFlah, who seeks back-to-back victories after his team’s triumph in the 2025 edition. His roster is headlined by a lethal attacking trio of football legends Thierry Henry , Franck Ribéry, and the skilled Omar Abdulrahman.
The team is anchored by World Cup-winning defender Gerard Pique and Australian legend Tim Cahill, providing a formidable spine for the squad. They are supported by the two biggest names in the digital world, philanthropic giant MrBeast and British superstar KSI.
Team AboFlah also includes diverse talents like freestyle master Billy Wingrove, comedian Adam W, and popular entertainers Harry Pinero and Ray. This eclectic mix of stars is coached by Roberto Di Matteo, aiming for a structured and clinical performance to secure the trilogy.
Beyond the competition, the event is a massive cultural festival featuring a pre-match show by The Chainsmokers and a halftime performance by the Jonas Brothers. The match is broadcast globally for free on beIN SPORTS, ensuring the charitable mission reaches a massive international audience.
All proceeds from the 34,000-seat stadium and digital donations are funnelled directly into global educational programs to provide hope for marginalised youth. This final edition aims to break previous fundraising records, building on the $19.5 million already raised by the initiative.
