The Champions League play-off draw has been confirmed, with Premier League clubs learning their fate and potential route to the final in Hungary on Saturday May 30.
Midweek action brought an end to the league phase, where the top eight teams: Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting and Man City all progressed to the round of 16.
However, the other eight teams that will be joining them will be confirmed following the play-offs as the teams ranked ninth to 24th in the league phase, including Newcastle United, were drawn against their opponents.

Victories on the final day of the league phase for Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and City confirmed their automatic place in the last 16. While Arsenal's win over Kazakhstan outfit Kairat Almaty secured top spot and a perfect record.
The draw for the play-offs has been completed and the top eight clubs can now piece together their round of 16 opponents with the format already assigning which one of four clubs those who have already qualified will play in the next round.
