Shamrock Rovers fans can expect to see more of Victor Ozhianvuna this year, ahead of the Dubliner’s €2million departure next January.

Premier League giants Arsenal have already agreed a League of Ireland record fee with the Hoops to sign Ozhianvuna once he turns 18.

Mikel Arteta’s side won the battle to secure the services of the highly-rated teenager, who featured for Ireland at last year’s Under-17 World Cup.

The youngster, who turned 17 in early-January, made 16 first-team appearances for Rovers last season in all competitions.

Bradley explained his limited game-time, saying: “The Arsenal stuff was obviously bubbling in the background and then he grew a lot last year. He took his main growth spurt, so his hips were sore.

“So we had to really mind him and understand the bigger picture with Victor.

“You see him, he played the last three games of last season and then pre-season, he's flying.

“Again, if injuries allow, you'll see this year what we all see, what we've seen for years. He's a special talent. Special, special talent.

“Please God, injuries look after him and you'll see him so much more this year. See what he's about.”

As for Ozhianvuna’s best position, Bradley expects the youngster’s versatility to be on display as he completes his final season in Rovers colours.

“I think he'll play central for us this year. But I think, depending on what system you play in, how you play, he can play left, right,” said the Hoops boss.

“He's played off the centre forward as well.

“You'll understand what I mean when you see him this year in terms of, he can play anywhere. You'll understand that.

“Victor can play right back in a four and be brilliant because of his attributes. So, it's hard to explain until you see him.

“You just see him and it's next level in terms of physical attributes are different. Just different.”
