Newcastle United star and long-term Arsenal transfer target Joelinton is not considering leaving Newcastle any time soon despite two years remaining on his contract and all the rumours surronding his future.
ARSENAL are sitting pretty at the very top of the Premier League, but are now only four points clear of Manchester City, as they seek to win their first League title since 2004, but rumours about players being signed are still in the media.
Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for Joelinton a few transfer windows ago as Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of the Newcastle star, but he has never managed to tempt him away from the Toon, and has instead opted to make moves for other targets.
However – ARSENAL are always linked with a move for Joelinton everytime a transfer window opens up, especially as the midfielder only has two years left on his current contract with the Toon and has been linked with moves away from the club once again.
However – it seems that Joelinton has made up his mind about where he would like to be for the foreseeable future, as he has now come out and revealed that he has no plans to leave Newcastle anytime soon – He said: “I want to win more trophies at Newcastle. That’s my goal and dreams.
“It was a great feeling to win the Carabao Cup last season but now we want more and I want to put my name in the history of the club, helping them to grow and become one of the best teams in the world.”

Joelinton is a solid performer for Newcastle, he works so hard for the club and has become a real fans favourite, he is very happy at the club and that is why he has never left for a bigger club and more of a chance to win some trophies.
The transfer windows will always link him with a move away, especially as the big clubs and sides from Saudi Arabia are always interested, but he will surely sign that new contract when talks are opened up.
However – football is a funny thing and if the right amount of money is offered, the Toon board may be tempted into letting Joelinton leave the club, anything can happen in the transfer windows.
