The 2025 NBA Draft has clearly produced many young talents, and Cooper Flagg continues to lead the charge as a favorite for the league’s Rookie of the Year.
The former Duke Blue Devil produced another history-making performance Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets. Now, the Dallas Mavericks are clearly seeing what all college basketball fans witnessed a season ago.

Cooper Flagg made NBA history with a 49-point performance against Charlotte. That marks the most points a teenager has ever scored during an NBA game.

Despite recently having an injury scare, Flagg has been a monster on the court and produced in nearly every game to keep Dallas relevant in the Western Conference.

The Mavericks star’s breakout was certainly the his best showing yet since joining the NBA, but it also marks his second 40-point game of the year. Meanwhile, Flagg has also hit the 30-point mark on four occasions.
