Ex-Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy is expecting Man Utd to bag the three points against his former club this weekend.
Speaking to Essential.Football, Murphy said that confidence is sky high following victories over Manchester City and Arsenal, so he can only see one winner:
“I just think United are on a crest of a wave. The fans are behind them, players are fit again, there’s competition for places high up the pitch. I’ll go United 3–1.”

Michael Carrick has certainly been the beneficiary of the ‘new manager bounce’ and Murphy feels he could well make it three victories out of three against an in-form Fulham.
Man Utd vs Fulham team news
United are set to be without Patrick Dorgu (hamstring), Matthijs de Ligt (back), Joshua Zirkzee (knock) and Tyler Fredricson (calf).
Cottagers boss Marco Silva could have Kenny Tete available again after missing the last five matches due to a hamstring injury.
However, new signing Oscar Bobb has been ruled out with his own hamstring problem that he picked up whilst playing Manchester City in the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Brentford last month. Sasa Lukic and Rodrigo Muniz are also sidelined with similar issues.
The form guide suggests this will be a tight game
Both teams have taken the same number of points from their last 10 Premier League fixtures (17), which means this should be a pretty close contest.
You do, however, need to take into account Fulham’s rather average points total away from home this season. They have taken 11 points from 11 matches, with three wins, two draws and six defeats.
In contrast, Man Utd are strong at Old Trafford, having taken 21 points, so the Red Devils should be favourites to secure the win based on those numbers.
