Doubt: Micky van de Ven

Van de Ven missed Wednesday’s 2-0 victory away to Eintracht Frankfurt as Spurs sealed their place in the Champions League round of 16.

Frank said earlier in the week that he had hoped that Van de Ven would be fit to play against City after suffering an unspecified “minor” injury following Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Burnley last weekend.

"Micky is a minor one, he'll be touch and go for Sunday, we're hoping,” Frank told reporters on Friday.

“He was on the pitch yesterday [Thursday], so hopeful for that, but he's touch and go."

Van de Ven’s fitness issues come at the same time as an injury crisis at Spurs, who could be without as many as nine senior players on Sunday.

Pedro Porro also missed Spurs’ trip to Frankfurt after sustaining a hamstring injury, and is now set to spend at least a month on the sidelines.

The right-back came off at half-time against Burnley, with Frank initially stating that they were trying to manage the 26-year-old’s load after he had started Spurs’ last 15 games in all competitions.
