Latest Arsenal injury news for Leeds United as Mikel Arteta issues Saliba and Timber updates

Mikel Arteta was able to confirm a triple Arsenal injury boost for this Saturday's Premier League clash against Leeds United. Jurrien Timber and William Saliba missed the Champions League win over Kairat with knocks, but Arteta has issued positive updates on the duo, while Kai Havertz came through his 45 minutes on the pitch unscathed

The Gunners face Daniel Farke's side in only their third 3pm Saturday clash since early October, with the chance to open up a seven-point gap and put pressure on Aston Villa and Manchester City.

Having their best players fit and available will be key to that with Declan Rice missing out on Wednesday through suspension, while Bukayo Saka remained an unused substitute. Though it is expected only one Arsenal player will be absent because of injury, Arteta is likely to manage minutes ahead of a busy February.

As for their opponents, Daniel Farke has been hit by a number of injury blows over the last few weeks with several key players expected to miss this weekend's game.

With all of that being said, football.london has taken a look at the latest injury updates from both teams before they meet at Elland Road.
