Chelsea in deep talks to get powerhouse transfer deal done before deadline

Chelsea are still in talks with Italian giants Fiorentina over a potential January deal for defender Axel Disasi, who is seemingly no longer needed at the Blues.

There has been more players leave the club than come in, and with only a few days left of the transfer window left, the Blues are still working hard on getting some of the fringe players in the side out of the club before the deadline closes on Monday.

Despite having all the attributes to be a massive player for the Blues, the big man has not played for CHELSEA at all this term after being frozen out by ex-boss Enzo Maresca, who was let go by Chelsea right at the beginning of the transfer window.

He was reintegrated into first-team training by Liam Rosenior but still looks set to leave the club, and reports have claimed that Chelsea and Fiorentina have held talks over a possible deal to take the defender to Italian football on loan until the end of the season.

However – the deal has reportedly stalled in recent days as there are claims the Italians feel that Disasi does not want to leave the Premier League and would rather stay put then make the move abroad.

IcChelseanews Says…

The man has great potential, but he just looks like a star that cant cut it at the very top of the game, we are not sure that he is the right type of player for the club and maybe a move away will do him the best of good.

CHELSEA have a massive squad that needs to be trimmed and if Disasi can get this move to Fiorentina, even if he doesnt want to leave the Premier League, it could really get his career back on track.
