Maldini Kacurri has joined League Two side Grimsby Town in a permanent transfer.
The 20-year-old defender joined us in March 2022 and went on to sign his first professional contract with the club in June 2024.
Maldini has recently returned from a successful spell on loan with National League side Morecambe, where he made 18 appearances in all competitions this season.
The 2024/25 campaign saw Maldini make his senior first team debut for us when he came on as a substitute in our 5-1 win against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third round. The central defender finished last season with a short-term loan spell at League Two side, Bromley.
London-born Maldini has already been capped at senior level for the Albania national team, making his debut in their 1-0 win against Gibraltar in September 2025.
