Sarr’s performances, both for club and country, have not gone unnoticed, and the fact his former Strasbourg head coach – Liam Rosenior – is now at the helm of Stamford Bridge could facilitate his move back to West London.
Chelsea are still in the market for a centre-back before Monday’s deadline. The Blues remain keen to sign Jacquet to send him back on loan at his formative Rennes side to see out the season. However, _Les Rouge et Noir_ want to make Jacquet their club-record sale, which means Chelsea are expected to up their bid for the France U21 international.
