Arsenal could be in the market to land one of Europe's leading youngsters in the coming weeks, according to reports - with a bid for Real Madrid youngster Arda Guler reportedly being made by Andrea Berta.

Guler is set to become one of the 'biggest debates' of the summer transfer window, and despite his significant progress at the Santiago Bernabeu, his future could lie away from the Spanish capital.
Arsenal are interested, and Arteta has made him an 'absolute priority' to strengthen their project for next season, by which time he'll be hoping that the club are the reigning Premier League champions.
Arteta's recruitment team have been closely monitoring Guler's progress for months, and believe he would fit their style of play perfectly. Guler, described as a 'game-changer', could become the big fish in a big pond at Arsenal if he makes the move and that could tempt him to follow in the footsteps of Mesut Ozil.
£87million would be a huge figure, with only Declan Rice costing more than that in the club's history, and Guler would be an immense addition for the future, with his value unlikely to plummet given he's been called a 'future Ballon d'Or winner'.

They haven't signed a player of Guler's reputation from another elite European club - and for that high a fee - since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined in 2018 from Borussia Dortmund, and before that, Ozil from Real 13 years ago.
