How much Alexander Isak has earned at Liverpool since Newcastle United transfer

Liverpool will face Alexander Isak’s former club Newcastle United in a Premier League meeting this weekend.

If the Reds lose, Jamie Carragher’s fears about Champions League football this season could worsen.

Ahead of the tie, Slot has provided a Liverpool injury update, with six players definitely ruled out, including Alexander Isak.

How much has Alexander Isak earned at Liverpool

The Swede, of course, left Newcastle at the very end of the summer transfer window, signing for Liverpool in a British record £125m deal.

However, life at Anfield has so far proven difficult for the striker, who has been limited to just 781 minutes of football across all competitions.

Isak has been hampered by injury and fitness issues since his record move, and we have now taken a look at how much money he has earned since swapping the North East for Liverpool.

As per Capology, the 26-year-old earns a base salary of £280,000-a-week, plus £20,000 in possible bonuses.

From September 1, 2025, when his deal was confirmed, to January 31, 2026, 214 days have passed.

That works out at just over 30 weeks, which means Isak has taken home £8,400,000 since signing for the Reds.

And with three goals to his name so far, that would be £2.8m per strike.

When is Alexander Isak back from injury

Isak started his Liverpool career with fitness and injury issues, with his longest run in the side coming between November and December 2025.

However, the centre-forward was injured after colliding with Micky van de Ven after scoring against Tottenham Hotspur on December 20.

An exact date for the former Newcastle man’s return is yet to be confirmed at this stage.

But previous reports have suggested Isak will be back in March, when he will no doubt once again need time to build up his fitness.
