Andree Jeglertz said he is hoping to inflict revenge on Chelsea after their League Cup semi-final defeat against the Blues last week.
Chelsea also beat City 2-1 in the reverse fixture at the start of the season, thanks to goals from Aggie Beever-Jones and Maika Hamano.
The Cityzens go into the match nine points clear at the top of the WSL, but Jeglertz has urged his team to remain focused going into Sunday’s match.
He said: “We speak about taking this game now… we are not thinking about what is in the background and what is going to happen next.
The Swede added: “If you start doing that too much it can affect the players.”
