Suns’ Jalen Green off injury report for Cavs clash

The Phoenix Suns will be facing the Cleveland Cavaliers, and it looks like they'll be getting some help in the matchup. After missing the past three games with a hamstring injury, Jalen Green seems to be slated to return for the Suns, according to Hayden Cilley of Clutch Points.

“Jalen Green is off the injury report tonight vs the Cavaliers. Meanwhile, Devin Booker still remains out with a right ankle sprain,” Cilley wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

This is big news for the Suns, especially with Devin Booker still out.

Green hasn't played much so far this season after entering the season with a hamstring injury. He returned for a short period but reaggravated the injury. He then came back last week, but it looked like he re-aggravated the injury again in their game against the Atlanta Hawks, and only played four minutes.

Green has been listed as questionable over the past few games but ultimately ruled out closer to game time. The Suns are probably trying to stay cautious with Green and his hamstring, and they know they'll need him as the season continues.

This is Green's first season with the Suns after being traded to the team during the offseason as part of the Kevin Durant deal. It was uncertain what his role would be with the team, especially since the backcourt was already full with Devin Booker and other players in the mix.

Green has shown throughout his career, especially last season with the Rockets, that he could be a microwave scorer. He was a big part of why the Rockets were the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

If the Suns can get that player in the second half of the season, it could be a big addition to a team that has surprised many so far.
