As the trade deadline draws closer, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have emerged as central figures in leaguewide speculation.
Reports this week suggested the Bucks are now open to exploring trade interest in their franchise star after a frustrating season. While the rumors gained momentum, Giannis seemed relaxed, spending time on social media as he explored the possibility of adding another endorsement deal.

Staying on brand as the Greek Freak, Antetokounmpo took to social media to chase a potential endorsement with contraceptive company Trojan. He referenced Kevin Durant’s deal with skincare brand CeraVe as the blueprint, explaining how that partnership came together as motivation for his own endorsement push.
“Trojan, what’s up? I’m curious to see if your product works. 👀😂,” Giannis wrote in his social media account.

The brand, which has a valuation of $22 billion, has signed athletes to endorse its products before. The company signed a deal with the UFC in 2020 and signed the NFL’s JuJu Smith-Schuster to a brand deal in 2022.
Antetokounmpo, who is a father of four with longtime partner Mariah Riddlesprigger, now has a chance to break new ground by becoming the first NBA player to land an endorsement deal with the company.
For now, Antetokounmpo remains out with a calf injury suffered in last week’s loss to the Detroit Pistons. Early evaluations projected a recovery window of four to six weeks, a timeline that would keep him off the floor beyond the trade deadline.

Even with the injury and uncertain timetable, opposing teams have not backed off their interest in Antetokounmpo. Milwaukee has stumbled to an 18–28 record and enters this stretch riding a four-game losing skid.
This season, Antetokounmpo has appeared in 30 games at a little over 29 minutes per game. He’s been averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists with splits of 64.5 percent shooting from the field, 39.5 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 65.8 percent shooting from the free-throw line.
