Chelsea in£80M battle–Blues confirms January deal for defender–Chelsea in talks over powerhouse deal

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer speculation that you may have missed from icchelseanews…

Chelsea are still in talks with Italian giants Fiorentina over a potential January deal for defender Axel Disasi, who is seemingly no longer needed at the Blues.

There has been more players leave the club than come in, and with only a few days left of the transfer window left, the Blues are still working hard on getting some of the fringe players in the side out of the club before the deadline closes on Monday.

Despite having all the attributes to be a massive player for the Blues, the big man has not played for CHELSEA at all this term after being frozen out by ex-boss Enzo Maresca, who was let go by Chelsea right at the beginning of the transfer window.

He was reintegrated into first-team training by Liam Rosenior but still looks set to leave the club, and reports have claimed that Chelsea and Fiorentina have held talks over a possible deal to take the defender to Italian football on loan until the end of the season.

However – the deal has reportedly stalled in recent days as there are claims the Italians feel that Disasi does not want to leave the Premier League and would rather stay put then make the move abroad.

IcChelseanews Says…

The man has great potential, but he just looks like a star that cant cut it at the very top of the game, we are not sure that he is the right type of player for the club and maybe a move away will do him the best of good.

CHELSEA have a massive squad that needs to be trimmed and if Disasi can get this move to Fiorentina, even if he doesnt want to leave the Premier League, it could really get his career back on track.

JACOB HALL SIGNS UP

Chelsea fc have now come out and announced that Academy defender Jacob Hall has signed his first professional contract with the club following his 17th birthday.

CHELSEA have one of the best academies in the Premier League and have been working very hard over the past few weeks making sure that the talents are all signed up to new contracts, and some even getting their very first professional deals with the clubs.

Now the decision has been made to hand Defender Hall his first professional contract following his 17th birthday, the Blues posted on the club website: ‘Hall has been a Blue since joining us during his Under-9s season and has developed into a composed centre-back.

‘While still a schoolboy during his Under-16s campaign, Hall was handed his Under-18s debut, marking an important step in his progression through the Academy.

‘Since signing his scholarship in July, he has gone on to make seven more appearances across Under-18s competitions this season, alongside two appearances in the Under-17 Premier League Cup.

‘Congratulations, Jacob!’

IcChelseanews Says…

We are really delighted with the news that Hall has signed his first deal with the club, he fully deserves for all the hard work he has been putting in over the last few seasons, he really must be buzzing.

But now he needs to put his head down alot more and push on in order to make a name for himself, if he wants to play for the CHELSEA first team he needs to work harder than he ever has before.

But the news that he has signed up is massive and we hope that he does not get lost in that loan system.

CHELSEA IN RODGERS BATTLE

Liverpool are looking to rival Chelsea for the signature of Aston Villa star Morgan Rodgers, who could cost anywhere over the £80 million mark

Right now, all the talk at CHELSEA is about whether or not the Blues will be able to push on and compete for that Premier League title after a very impressive opening few weeks for Liam Rosenior.

But that has not stopped the transfer speculation about players that could be coming into the club, as there are still a few areas of the pitch that the Blues board would like to improve over the next few weeks of the transfer window.

According to rumours, Chelsea have set their sights on potential transfer deals for two of England’s top young talents in the form of Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, a player that the Blues have been keeping a very close eye on over the past few seasons.

But if you believe the reports coming from GivemeSport, Liverpool are now the latest sides to show an interest in Rodgers and could make a move at the end of the season when the summer transfer window opens up.

IcChelseanews says…

There are only a handful of players in the Premier League that we would take here at CHELSEA, Rodgers is one of those players that could come to the club and make an immediate impact for Liam Rosenior, the lad is brilliant.

Liverpool will be a tough challenge if they are actually interested in the man, but at the end of the day, if this Blues board actually want to get Rodgers, then we will add him to the side that is for sure.
