If the Portland Trail Blazers were to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo, a potential package could include Jerami Grant, Shaedon Sharpe, Scoot Henderson, Robert Williams III, the 2028 first-round pick via Orlando, the 2029 first-round pick via POR/MIL/BOS, and Milwaukee's 2028 and 2030 first-round swap rights.
While most of the NBA buzz centers on the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, and Golden State Warriors as potential destinations for Giannis Antetokounmpo, analyst Jake Weinbach has highlighted a dark-horse contender: the Portland Trail Blazers.
Portland Trail Blazers / Schedule
If Portland were to enter the Giannis sweepstakes, the team could assemble a package including Jerami Grant, at least one promising young talent (Deni Avdija, Shaedon Sharpe, or Scoot Henderson), Milwaukee's 2028 and 2030 pick swaps, and additional first-round draft picks.
Weinbach suggested that a potential Blazers offer could include four players and four draft assets:
Jerami Grant
Shaedon Sharpe
Scoot Henderson
Robert Williams III

2029 first-round pick (via Portland, Milwaukee, or Boston)
2028 first-round swap rights (via Milwaukee)
2030 first-round swap rights (via Milwaukee)

If Giannis were to land in Portland, he would reunite with Damian Lillard, his former teammate in Milwaukee from 2023-25. Before the 2025-26 season, the Bucks had waived and stretched Lillard to create cap space for Myles Turner's signing.
Currently, Antetokounmpo is sidelined with a right calf strain, an injury expected to keep him out well past the February 5 trade deadline.
