Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George suffered a left ankle sprain in Friday's loss to the Nets, though X-rays were negative, potentially sidelining the 22-year-old, who is averaging 24.1 points this season.
Utah Jazz point guard Keyonte George suffered a left ankle sprain late in the fourth quarter of Friday's 109-99 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, according to Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune.
X-rays on George's ankle came back negative, but he was seen limping in the locker room and receiving attention from the team's training staff.
Larsen noted that the 22-year-old could miss some time due to the injury.
George is enjoying a breakout third season with Utah, averaging 24.1 points, 6.6 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals over 46 games, playing 34.4 minutes per contest.
On Friday, he scored 26 points on 9-of-11 shooting, along with seven assists and three rebounds in 32 minutes.
