After a dramatic late win over Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho is turning his attention to his former club, Chelsea, for a transfer favour.
It’s been a week of former Chelsea managers with Antonio Conte’s Napoli being knocked out of the Champions League at the Maradona.
But Conte did stay humble after defeat, praising Joao Pedro and Chelsea on the whole for being world champions after a spirited performance.
He even registered Napoli’s interest in signing Tyrique George after the game, hoping for a favour of his former club before the deadline. However, he faces a battle to sign the Chelsea attacker, as more and more teams seem to be taking an interest ahead of Monday.
Be honest: If Estevao avoids injuries, is he actually destined to be GREATER than Eden Hazard?

Jose Mourinho in talks over Tyrique George deal
Jose Mourinho recently hinted that Liam Rosenior was a strange appointment at Chelsea, citing a lack of experienced managers getting big jobs nowadays.
And now he wants a favour from Chelsea on the transfer front.
According to Duncan Castles on the Transfers Podcast, Benfica are very keen to take Tyrique George on loan this month.
“Benfica have been looking to get a deal in place for George. They are very keen to take the player.
“The agent is working to make that happen. The problem is the cost.
“Benfica is proposing a loan with an option to buy. Chelsea would like a guaranteed fee on that deal. Benfica haven’t given up yet. So there is still the possibility of that move happening before the deadline.”
Where does Josh Acheampong fit in at Chelsea?🤔

Chelsea needs to stand their ground
The fact that the Chelsea owners are pushing for a guaranteed fee is a huge positive. Gone are the days of being pushovers in the transfer market.
An option to buy rather than an obligation may actually be a smart move for Chelsea, as it allows them to assess his progression and possibly even work him back into their system if he explodes.
Just look at the likes of Aaron Anselmino and Mamadou Sarr. They both impressed on loan and at least one of them is set to get their chance at Chelsea now.
