Celtic have reportedly entered into talks with FC Noah over signing striker Nardin Mulahusejnovic amid an escalating striker search.
Celtic have snapped up Tomas Cvancara from Borussia Monchengladbach until the end of term but are still in the market for another frontman – with Julian Araujo's loan arrival from Bournemouth the only other new face to come into Parkhead this month. Martin O'Neill has conceded the squad needs more reinforcements - and the path appears clear to land another hitman before the February 2 deadline.
Transfer reporter Rudy Galetti claims that Celtic have "opened talks" about a move for the 27-year-old. Mulahusejnovic finished the Conference League campaign as top scorer in the league phase with five goals - including netting in the 1-1 draw with Aberdeen.
The Bosnian netted 17 goals in 42 games at Mostar last season before making the switch to Noah for a fee of €350,000, which could rise to €1million with add-ons. It is reported that Rapid Vienna saw a six month loan deal with €1.5million buy option rejected earlier this month for the 6’3″ forward. Noah are not said to be considering loan deals.
The Hoops have also targeted Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh this month. Record Sport understands the Hoops have entered the chase for the £7million-rated frontman with the clock ticking down on the window.
Norwich City have already seen a bid turfed out by the Norwegian side, and look close to signing Randers FC striker Mohamed Toure as an alternative target. And Hogh appears to be focussed on Bodo after helping the club reach the knockout stage of the Champions League.

Speaking to TV2, he said: "I've never received so much support. From Bodø, from family, from girlfriend and friends. I want to do Bodø proud."
Celtic are said to have reignited their interest in Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana this month.
The Ivorian almost joined the Hoops last summer before heading out to Turkey with Fatih Karagümrük.
But following a prolific stint, the Blues have recalled the 23-year-old with a view to sending him elsewhere permanently.
Reports south of the border say Al-Sadd have expressed an interest in taking the frontman to Saudi on loan, but have been denied by the Premier League giants - as they are looking to keep an international loan slot free. Similarly, that could scupper any switch to the Scottish Premiership.
