Liam Rosenior cleared up the rumours that Cole Palmer is unhappy at Chelsea, but more murmurs continue to come out.
The bizarre rumours all started when Cole Palmer was linked with a shock move to Manchester United earlier on this window.
As mentioned, Liam Rosenior was quick to deny any kind of negativity, stating that Palmer is perfectly happy behind the scenes at Chelsea.
His performance on the field against Napoli certainly didn’t look like a player who isn’t happy with where he’s playing his football. After all, he bagged two assists.
But, there are still more claims surfacing, and this time it strangely involves Estevao Willian.

Cole Palmer wants to ensure Estevao Willian hasn’t taken his place at Chelsea
Nobody could have predicted just how well Estevao Willian would have done at Chelsea since his arrival in the summer.
To put it into perspective, Micah Richards is already tipping Estevao to win the Ballon d’Or in the future, that’s the kind of level he’s been playing at.
And the latest claims are that Estevao’s rise is affecting Cole Palmer.
Duncan Castles on the Transfers Podcast is saying that Palmer wants to make sure he is still the prime creative force in the side.
“I talked to, a couple of Sporting Director, one in particular, I asked him, “Have you been offered Cole Palmer?” His answer was, “Everyone has been offered Cole Palmer.” Um and his understanding of the situation was that Cole Palmer is not happy that he is no longer necessarily the central creative force in the Chelsea squad, the Chelsea team because of Estevao’s arrival from Brazil.”

Duncan Castles continued on Cole Palmer’s future at Chelsea
This one seems even more unbelievable than the Manchester United links.
There are numerous photos of Cole and Estevao smiling and hanging around with each other in training, and the Englishman even calls him ‘Steve’.
Despite this, Duncan Castles claims the summer will be interesting.
“Because of Estevao’s initial impact at Chelsea um he wants to be reassured that he is the most important creative force there and that has resulted it seems in his representatives going around the elite clubs of Europe and indicating to them that Cole Palmer could be interested in the move and asking whether they would be interested in taking him.
“Now that doesn’t mean that Cole Palmer will leave Chelsea in the summer window certainly not in the January window but it does mean that we can expect some movement there and it does mean that he certainly is trying to create leverage in his discussions with Chelsea in his apparent desire to be reinstated as that key figure he was at Chelsea before Estevao arrived.”
