Besiktas have submitted an offer to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili ahead of the transfer deadline, according to journalist Santi Aouna.
The Turkish side have reportedly proposed a loan move for the Georgian international, with an option to extend the agreement beyond the current season.
Mamardashvili joined Liverpool last summer from Valencia and has been Arne Slot’s second choice in goal behind Alisson.
The 25-year-old, who is under contract until the end of the 2030/31 season, has made 11 appearances for the Reds to date, conceding 17 goals and keeping three clean sheets.

According to Aouna, Besiktas are working on several signings ahead of the transfer deadline, including a move for Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas, who is spending the season on loan at Roma.
The Turkish side have reportedly reached an agreement over personal terms with Tsimikas but have yet to make further advances, as they are choosing between him and former Arsenal left-back Nuno Tavares.
Besiktas have also submitted a loan offer for Mamardashvili, and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool would entertain a move, given they would likely need to bring in a replacement.
This is the first season in the last five years that Mamardashvili has not been a first-choice option in goal for his respective club.
The ‘incredible’ 25-year-old spent three-and-a-half seasons at Valencia prior to joining the Reds, making 134 appearances for the Spanish side and keeping 39 clean sheets.
Liverpool Hold Denzel Dumfries Talks

Liverpool are exploring a move for a new right-back following an injury to Jeremie Frimpong and have held preliminary talks for Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Reds have held direct conversations with Inter but are not currently pursuing a move for the Dutchman, who is sidelined for around two weeks with an injury.
The talks were held as part of discussions involving Curtis Jones, with Inter exploring a move to sign the midfielder in the final three days of the January window.
A move to Anfield would see Dumfries join forces with Netherlands teammates Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo, as well as fellow compatriot Arne Slot.
