Mikel Arteta saw his side beat Leeds United by a comfortable margin for the second time this season at Elland Road.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta served up Leeds United praise with his verdict on Daniel Farke’s Whites and Elland Road but ultimately his side’s 4-0 victory there.

Speaking post match, Arteta was pressed on the result being just a third league loss of the season for Leeds and how pleased he was with that.

"Very, very happy obviously,” said Arteta.

"A very impressive performance, a very impressive result and in the context that we have done it.

"We knew about the difficulty of the game and the opponent that were facing with the recent form and the style of play that they have at the moment, the energy that that stadium brings.

"And then the fact that the three results didn't go our way in the league.

"We really wanted to show how much we wanted it and I think we certainly did that today."

Asked what had happened with Saka, Arteta explained: "In the warm up he had a little niggle.

"He wasn't comfortable to start the game so immediately we made a decision to make that change and bring Noni in and he was ready because you cannot do that in two minutes, the way he prepares, the way he is waiting for an opportunity.

"I think it paid off today because he really impacted the team"
