Player ratings: Leeds 0-4 Arsenal

Arsenal got back to winning ways in emphatic fashion with a 4-0 thrashing over Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners had failed to win in their last three Premier League games and faced a Leeds side who are in good form, particularly at home.

But Arsenal put Leeds to the sword, taking a 2-goal lead into the break thanks to Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke.

In the second half, the Gunners killed all hope for Leeds as strikers Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus netted.

Martin Zubimendi – 8

Declan Rice – 8

Kai Havertz – 6

Noni Madueke – 8

Viktor Gyokeres – 8

Leandro Trossard – 6

Man of the match: I’m going to give it to Viktor Gyokeres. I think we have seen notable improvement in the runs he is making and also his strength. He missed a good chance early in the second half, but it was an elite run to get onto that ball, a run most Arsenal strikers wouldn’t have made in recent years. He didn’t let that chance eat him up and continued to battle and make good movements, holding off his defender to net the crucial third goal. It’s four goals and two assists in his last six games now, and the Swede appears to be building some form at a crucial point in the season.
