Dillon Brooks is having a career year, but it has not stopped him from being his usual vocal self. Alongside his standout performances for the Phoenix Suns, he has appeared on livestreams of many popular influencers.
On these streams, Brooks is his authentic self. He loves to be honest and upfront with his thoughts. His latest stream with the influencer N3on involved him talking about active players having podcasts.
Brooks criticizes Green and George for their podcasts
In the sports world, almost anyone can have a podcast. This is especially true for the athletes themselves because they have big personalities and life experiences that people want to hear about.
This becomes even more interesting when it involves active players talking about the game. Fans can gain insights about the current landscape of the competition they are part of. In the NBA, active players like Draymond Green and Paul George stand out with their podcast shows.

Brooks thinks this is not a good look for some players. He does not believe it is productive to have podcasts while having active playing careers, especially when it takes away from their performances.
"I be getting on dudes that want to do the podcast grind while they're still playing... He (Green) talks too much for me. I'm saying they're not good at basketball, so focus on hoops," Brooks said on N3on's stream about the podcasts.
Brooks makes a valid point because it is not a good look to lose a game and then talk about it on a podcast immediately after. While Green and George are not the only active players, they do have the biggest shows.
Moving forward, this sentiment might become more popular. Brooks is known to be quite vocal, so his opinion might have some other players agreeing with him in the future.
