Cavaliers Complete Three-Team Trade With Kings, Bulls: Report

The Keon Ellis trade market is closing on Saturday night.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to acquire the Sacramento Kings wing, along with Dennis Schroder, in exchange for De'Andre Hunter.

The Chicago Bulls will enter the picture as a third team, picking up Dario Saric from the Kings, along with two second-round picks.

De'Andre Hunter officially wraps up a two-year run with the Cavs. This season, he appeared in 43 games with Cleveland, averaging 14.0 points while shooting 42 percent from the field.

The Cavaliers acquire one of the most notable names in the trade market this season in Ellis. Reports have suggested that many contending teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, have reached out to the Kings for the young veteran.

This season, Ellis appeared in 43 games, with most of his appearances coming off the bench. He is posting averages of 5.6 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals. While he is struggling from the field, making just 39 percent of his shots, he has been sharp from three, knocking down 36 percent of his attempts from deep on 3.3 attempts per game.

As for Dennis Schroder, he moves once again after seeing the court with three different teams last year. Following his Brooklyn-Golden State-Detroit run last season, Schroder signed a multi-year deal with the Sacramento Kings in the offseason. He played in 40 games for the Kings this year, going from an assumed starter to a reserve.

Schroder leaves the Kings after producing 12.8 points and 5.3 assists per game, making 40 percent of his shots. The 13-year veteran will suit up for his 11th different team since landing in the NBA in 2013.
