Chelsea attacker asks to leave the club straight after 3-2 win vs West Ham

The feeling was incredible inside Stamford Bridge after Chelsea completed another comeback victory, this time against West Ham.

Liam Rosenior extended his record as Blues manager to six wins in seven games since taking charge, although he will not liked what he saw from his side for much of the London derby.

The boss relied on substitutes Joao Pedro and Marc Cucurella to bring Chelsea back into the game, with Enzo Fernandez scoring the winner in added time.

It was a quick lesson for Rosenior that rotating in the Premier League is very difficult to do, and giving players opportunities like Alejandro Garnacho can backfire.

David Datro Fofana asks to leave Chelsea after win vs West Ham

After the drama of the game, it is easy to forget that Chelsea are still in the midst of the January transfer window, and looking to get rid of some players who don’t have a future at Stamford Bridge.

One player who fits in that camp is David Datro Fofana, who has spent this season on loan at Turkish club Fatih Karagumruk.

It has been reported by journalist Marc Mechenoua that the striker has now asked to join Ligue 1 side Auxerre, with them making an offer to the Blues.

He said: “Datro Fofana has asked to join Auxerre. AJA is offering Chelsea a paid loan of €500,000 with a mandatory €5M purchase option in case of survival + a percentage on resale Mallorca, in competition, offers a loan with a non-mandatory PO of €8M.”

Chelsea ready to cash in on Fofana

Since joining the club, the Ivorian has spent time on loan at Union Berlin, Burnley, Goztepe and Karagumruk.

It has become very clear he has no future at Chelsea, and reports have stated the Blues are ready to cash in.

Celtic had been linked with the permanent signing of Fofana, although it looks as if he is set for a move elsewhere in Europe.
