Next trades for Kings and Cavaliers revealed after Hunter deal

The Kings are actively exploring trades for Malik Monk, Domantas Sabonis, and DeMar DeRozan, while the Cavaliers are looking to move Lonzo Ball before the February 5 deadline.

The Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers were at the center of a three-team trade, marking the second trade of the season. In the deal, the Cavs sent De'Andre Hunter to Sacramento in exchange for Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis.

However, neither team is reportedly finished making moves ahead of the February 5 trade deadline.

According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Kings have been exploring trades for Domantas Sabonis, DeMar DeRozan, and Malik Monk over the past few weeks.

Of the three, Malik Monk has been the player Sacramento has shopped the most.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are turning their attention to Lonzo Ball.

With a $10 million team option for the 2026-27 season, Ball is essentially operating on an expiring contract, and Cleveland is trying to see what they can get for him.

His price is likely limited to a second-round pick due to his lack of production this season, averaging 4.6 points on 29.9% shooting and 26.9% from three, with 3.9 assists per game, according to Evan Sidery of Forbes.
