Ian Rush impressed by Ekitike goals
It was not only Mbappe and the Liverpool supporters who were delighted by what they saw from Ekitike on Saturday.
Some of the 23-year-old’s teammates also left comments on his Instagram post, with Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch both sharing a selection of emojis.
Liverpool’s all-time top goalscorer Ian Rush was also notable for his reaction, with the legendary No. 9 leaving a pair of applauding emojis.
Ekitike has won hearts and minds already at Anfield, but the rest of the football world are truly starting to see how special a footballer he is as well.
If he continues going in this manner, no doubt Mbappe will be having a word with the bosses at Real Madrid if a move to Spain could be arranged. Hands off!
