According to a report from [**Foot Mercato**](https://x.com/Santi_J_FM/status/2017240618863309053?s=20), Besiktas have reached an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas (26). The Greek international is currently on loan at Roma despite the agreement with the Turkish Super League club.
Whilst Besiktas have managed to convince Tsimikas of a move to Istanbul, there are still two other parties that need convincing before a move can be completed. Roma would need to agree to terminate the 26-year-old’s loan move early and allow him to return to Liverpool. Additionally, the Premier League champions would need to agree to the conditions of the loan move.
#### Besiktas considering other options to Tsimikas
The Premier League winner is not the only reinforcement that the Turkish club are considering for the left-back position. **Foot Mercato** understands that they have also reached an agreement with Nuno Tavares, and the club will make a decision on who to sign within the next 48 hours.
