A teenage forward at Palmeiras is already being treated like a future superstar, even before he is allowed to move to Europe.

That alone says a lot about how the transfer market works now.

Top clubs no longer wait for players to reach senior level.

They try to lock in interest while the player is still in the academy.

This youngster has quickly become one of the standout names in Brazilian youth football.

The 1.80m tall forward already has the physical profile to compete with older players.

He combines strength with speed and is comfortable playing across the front line, even though he mainly operates from the left.

According to Brazilian outlet UOL, Eduardo Conceicao Silva is on Liverpool’s radar.

Arsenal were first to make contact and even held talks with his camp in London this week, but interest has since widened.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle United are all tracking him.

The report said, “UOL has learned that PSG and Barcelona have already signaled interest in Edu Conceição by contacting his agents.”

“The top teams in England are also keeping an eye on the youngster. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle are all interested in bringing the player to England. Estêvão’s success motivates the English clubs to make this move…”

Conceicao isn’t the only Brazillian wonderkid who has been recently linked with Liverpool, as the Merseyside club were reported to have made enquiries for Gremio teengaer Gabriel Menegon.

Technically, Conceicao is ahead of most players in his age group. His game is built around close control, direct running, and confidence in one-on-one situations.

He is right-footed but likes to start wide and cut inside. Coaches trust him with responsibility, which is rare at youth level.

His numbers back it up. Across youth competitions, he has made over 21 appearances and already has at least four goals and three assists.

His biggest stage so far came at the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, where he wore the number 10 shirt and produced four goals and three assists in seven matches, including a four-goal display in one game. That tournament is often where elite Brazilian talents announce themselves.

That background explains why several European clubs are now circling.

Outside England, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are also involved. Barcelona have already gone beyond basic scouting.

The player’s parents recently received shirts from the Spanish club, which shows how serious the interest has become.

Eduardo signed his first professional contract with Palmeiras in January 2026, running until January 2029.

His release clause for foreign clubs stands at £86m (€100m).

Palmeiras and his representatives are aligned on valuation and will only consider a future sale for figures similar to Endrick and Estevão, meaning above £52m (€60m).

He cannot leave until he turns 18 on 7 December 2027, but the groundwork is already being laid.

Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira has also publicly praised him, saying that two academy players had “Endrick-level potential”, with Eduardo named as one of them.

From a Liverpool point of view, this is now a long-term race.

Arsenal moved first, but the door is open. And in these situations, early positioning often matters more than final bids.
