The Cleveland Cavaliers were busy on Saturday night.
First, they pulled off a trade to acquire Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis. They had to give up De'Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings to pull that off.
It was actually a three-team trade also involving the Chicago Bulls, though, in part to get Dario Saric's salary off the Kings' books.
To acquire Saric, the Bulls had to give someone up, because they already had a full roster.

That someone was two-way player Emanuel Miller, who Julia Poe reported is going to the Cavs in the deal.
Miller is a 6-foot-5 guard out of TCU, originally from Canada. He's 25 years old and has scored 3.0 points per game in five NBA appearances this season.
Cleveland then had to make roster space, too, to make room for Miller.
The Cavs have chosen to waive 6-foot-6 Australian guard Luke Travers, according to Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor.

Travers was a second-round pick by the Cavs (56th overall) in the 2022 NBA Draft.
He ended up appearing in 24 games for Cleveland, including 12 this season. For this campaign, Travers averaged 2.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game in very limited minutes.
He was viewed as a potential big guard playmaker, but that never fully translated in Cleveland. It's not obvious whether Travers will pursue further NBA opportunities or head back to Australia to play professionally there.
