Nottingham Forest have signedManchester City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
The deal for the 33-year-old, who is out of contract this summer, is worth up to £500,000.
Ortega is currently third choice at Etihad Stadium behind Gianluigi Donnarumma and James Trafford.
"Stefan arrives here with fantastic experience and a winning mentality, having been part of such a successful team for the past few seasons," said Forest global head of football Edu Gaspar.
"When it became clear the goalkeeper position was somewhere we needed to address, Stefan stood out straight away.
"He will provide great competition for our group of goalkeepers, and will help the team on and off the pitch."
German Ortega has not played for Pep Guardiola's side this season, with Forest's need for a keeper stemming from a knee injury that is set to rule John Victor out for the rest of the season.
Ortega has played 56 games for City since joining in 2022 and played a key role in their Premier League title win in 2024. He played 22 games last season.
