According to a report from sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, Rennes Defender Jeremy Jacquet is desperate to complete his move to Chelsea, and has reportedly agreed agreed personal terms over a move to Stamford Bridge.
Rennes star Jeremy Jacquet is reportedly holding out for a transfer move to CHELSEA this January window or at the end of the season, despite strong interest from several top teams.
It has been claimed that the player has asked to join Chelsea, the club have come to an agreement over a deal for the defender and it was only a matter of time before an announcement was made by the clubs hierarchy.
However – in recent weeks the possible move has stalled because Chelsea seemingly do not want to meet the asking price that has been set by the French club, but that does not seem to be the end of the saga.
The Sky Sports reporter has revealed that there could be developments this weekend – He wrote: “Jeremy Jacquet only wants to sign for Chelsea. Personal terms have been fully agreed. Both Chelsea and Rennes are playing on Saturday evening. Expect developments after the games.“
IcChelseanews Says…
This rumour has been going on for a while now, the lad clearly wants to come to the club, but the Chelsea board are struggling to agree a fee to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
We always welcome new signings to the club, so Jacquet will be a solid addition, we were just hoping that the board brought in someone that had a bit more top-level experience and leadership, that is what the club is missing.
But he will surely be a great long-term signing for CHELSEA, when he officially makes the move.
