The market closes on Monday and Chelsea do not appear to be close to signing anyone yet.

Chelsea could sign a new forward before the transfer window closes
According to BBC Sport, Chelsea are not ruling out the arrival of a new forward on Sunday or Monday.

It is why news of a potential move for one in these last couple of days in the transfer window is a bit surprising.
There is no guarantee that Chelsea will improve their forward line now. Time is simply running out for them to do business.
However, there is a good chance of Mamadou Sarr returning to Stamford Bridge, so Liam Rosenior should at least get his hands on another centre-half.

Debating the profile of forward Chelsea need
On the right, Chelsea are sorted. They have Estevao Willian, who could be the team’s first-choice right winger for the next decade. The Brazilian is still only 18 years of age.
Joao Pedro is scoring goals for fun at the moment, while Emanuel Emegha is set to join Chelsea in the summer, so the Conference League holders may not need to make signing a striker a priority.
Where there are doubts is the left flank. Neither Alejandro Garnacho, nor Jamie Gittens has been able to lock down the spot there, so if Chelsea are going to try to improve their frontline now, they should probably be looking at their left wing.
