The Milwaukee Bucks are 18-28 on the season, 12th place in the NBA Eastern Conference, and quickly emerging as a serious candidate for a top-ten pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. Of course, there are also numerous rumors and speculation regarding 10-time All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his future with the franchise. With the February 5 trade deadline quickly approaching, these rumors will continue to persist.
On Sunday, Milwaukee will take on the 30-18 Boston Celtics on the road, the team current Bucks head coach Doc Rivers won his only NBA Championship with, which has allowed him to enjoy decades of work in the NBA despite no other relative postseason success.

The Bucks have lost four games in a row and are just 2-8 in their last ten games. Indeed, this is not kind of season that fans expected, and things appear to just be getting worse.
And while there would normally be little hope of defeating the Celtics this season anyway, the fact that the Bucks injury report contains five players is still frustrating:
Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf strain): Out
Taurean Prince (neck surgery): Out
Kevin Porter Jr. (oblique strain): Out
Alex Antetokounmpo (G-Leage/two-way): Out
Gary Harris (hamstring soreness): Questionable
Giannis, of course, has no timetable for his return from this latest injury. He previously missed most of the month of December with a previous calf injury.
Harris missed the Bucks’ last game with his hamstring soreness, so his return today is still up in the air.
Meanwhile, Boston has the following players on its injury report:
Ron Harper Jr. (G-League/two-way): Out
Max Shulga (G-League/two-way): Out
Jayson Tatum (Achilles repair): Out
Amari Williams (G-League/two-way): Questionable
Today’s game will take place at 2:30 CST and be aired on ESPN.
