It wasn't the big trade folks were waiting for ESPN's Shams Charania to potentially report, but a deal went down midday Sunday between the Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers.
The deal sends Vit Krejci to Portland in exchange for Duop Reath and two second-round picks.
It's not something immediately obvious as a win for the Hawks, who give up Krejci while he's averaging about nine points per game and shooting 42% from beyond the 3-point arc.

Why did the Hawks trade Vit Krejci?
Krejci found himself missing out on rotation minutes after the Trae Young trade brought in CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert.
That said, he's on a cheap contract for a couple more seasons, so there was an argument against this, too. The Hawks probably waive Reath and just get the two picks out of this deal.
It really is about getting the picks for a player the Hawks weren't using much. If Atlanta wants to make more trades, it doesn't hurt to have a few additional assets.

And right now, the Hawks are just in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, so it's not like they're playing for huge things right now.
Atlanta must feel they can continue to build their roster in the desired way by having a couple of extra draft picks to maneuver with.
It feels like a win for Portland. Krejci is a quality shooter who they can have learn their system and grow with their core for a couple of seasons.
