**Gary Neville embarrassed Tottenham Hotspur with a brutal comment during their Premier League clash with Manchester City.**
Following a dramatic weekend across the Premier League, Manchester City travelled to London to face bogey team Tottenham Hotspur in the final match on Sunday.
Heading into the match, the pressure on Spurs' manager Thomas Frank was reaching boiling point, with the club's last Premier League win being the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on December 28.
When the match kicked off, it didn't take long for things to get even worse for Frank as the visitors took the lead through Rayan Cherki, before new star signing Antoine Semenyo doubled City's lead before half-time.
But perhaps the most brutal part of the first-half for Spurs fans was the devastating comment that Neville made while doing the commentary for the match.

Following City's opening goal, Neville claimed that the only way they wouldn't comfortably win the match would be if they lacked concentration and failed to score a second goal.
Therefore, when Pep Guardiola's side did find a second goal, he congratulated the team, quipping that they had managed to stop Spurs from dragging them into a 'charity match'.
Reacting to the comment, one fan wrote on X: "Manchester City were in danger of getting drawn into this charity match”. Gary Neville, that’s colddd."

With a Spurs fan claiming: "Gary Neville describing this game as soccer aid is exactly what this is. SHOCKING level of intensity from Tottenham.
"That is the easiest goal City have ever scored and Semenyo scores to make it 2-0. Frank’s time at Spurs is done."

However, not all fans appreciated the joke, with one adding: Get Gary Neville off comms the miserable b\*\*\*\*\*, not one mention of the fact it's a Spurs squad with a load of injuries playing against a top City team.
"Did the same when United had a bench full of academy players. He absolutely loves sticking the boot in on Spurs and United."
While another commented: "Gary Neville is a disgrace in the way he’s talking about the Spurs players, Sky Sports should not be allowing it.
