Golden State Warriors are in an awkward position ahead of the trade deadline.

They want to make upgrades and extend the championship window with Stephen Curry as much as possible.
In order to do that, they don't have many assets available, especially after Jimmy Butler's injury.
The 35-year-old forward tore his ACL and is out for the rest of the season.
Different opinions were voiced regarding what the Warriors should do: keep or trade Butler whilst he's injured.
The franchise opted for the former option, assuring they will stay with Butler whilst he recovers from his knee injury.
"The Warriors have made it clear to Jimmy Butler that they are going to stick by him as he begins his long-year rehab," says Nick Friedel of The Athletic.
Butler played 38 games this year, with averages of 20 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists.
