ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The Atlanta Hawks on Sunday traded guard Vit Krejci to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Duop Reath and two future second-round draft picks, according to multiple reports.

The deal comes ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline.

Reath, 29, averaged 2.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per game for the Blazers before being ruled out for the remainder of the season with a stress fracture in his right foot. The Hawks are expected to waive Reath, which would open a roster spot and allow them to take on additional contracts ahead of the deadline.

The two second-round picks Atlanta received are in 2027 and 2030.

Krejci, 25, is averaging a career-high 9.0 points per game while shooting 42.3% from beyond the arc in 46 games this season. His perimeter shooting should provide a boost for a Trail Blazers team that ranks last in the NBA in 3-point percentage (33.6%) and currently sits ninth in the Western Conference.

Atlanta, meanwhile, is 10th in the Eastern Conference standings.
