Warriors change stance on Kuminga trade to Western Conference team

Jonathan Kuminga won't be traded to the Sacramento Kings, as the Golden State Warriors were willing to include him only if Keon Ellis would join them. The Warriors will try to send him to the Milwaukee Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo instead.

Jonathan Kuminga is running out of time to get traded from the Golden State Warriors.

On top of that, Evan Sidery reports that the Warriors aren't willing to include Kuminga in a potential deal with the Sacramento Kings.

"The potential Jonathan Kuminga to Kings pathway at the deadline is now no longer an option," Sidery notes.

Sidery adds that the Warriors were only interested in a Kuminga deal with Sacramento if Keon Ellis was involved. Ellis was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers on a Sunday morning.

However, Sidery also reports that the Milwaukee Bucks could be Kuminga's next possible destination.

"Kuminga is being offered to the Bucks in a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade package instead," Sidery concluded.

Kuminga signed a qualifying offer this summer and is on an expiring contract with the Warriors. This season he has played 20 games, averaging 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
