Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards was named a Western Conference All-Star reserve by a vote of NBA head coaches, the league announced Sunday.
The selection marks Edwards’ fourth consecutive All-Star appearance, making him the second player in franchise history to earn at least four straight selections. Kevin Garnett remains the only other Timberwolves player to accomplish the feat, earning eight consecutive All-Star nods from 2000 to 2007.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will be held Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. This year’s event will feature a new format, with two teams of U.S. players and one international team competing in a round-robin tournament of four 12-minute games. Each team will include at least eight players.
Edwards is enjoying the best statistical season of his career. He leads the Timberwolves in scoring at 29.4 points per game while averaging 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists. He is on pace to post the highest single-season scoring average in franchise history.
