NBA All-Star Game 2026 Snubs: Michael Porter Jr., Kawhi Leonard headline list

Here are some of the major snubs for this year's Los Angeles All-Star Game.

The NBA officially announced the final list of players who will go to Los Angeles later this month for the 2026 NBA All-Star Break. Unfortunately, as it is, everyone won't still be able to make it despite generating major numbers and team success.

Here are several key snubs of this year's All-Star Game.

NBA All-Star Game 2026 Eastern Conference snubs

Michael Porter Jr.

Porter Jr. delivered significant career-highs in just his first season with Brooklyn. But the Nets' brutal record and standing significantly affected his chances of earning his first All-Star nod.

Stats: 25.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 48.2% field goals (39.8% threes), 38 games

Brandon Ingram

Ingram helped the Raptors' rise this season by leading the team in points, but it wasn't interestingly enough to follow Scottie Barnes in LA.

Stats: 21.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 47.2% field goals (36.1% threes), 48 games

Joel Embiid

The 2023 MVP came up short for another All-Star selection, perhaps due to a lack of games played so far.

Stats: 26.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 49.0% field goals (29.7% threes), 28 games

LaMelo Ball

The Hornets have won their last six games, but Ball's numbers compared to his peers and the team's early-season struggles impacted his qualification for his second career All-Star gig.

Stats: 19.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 40.6% field goals (36.9% threes), 40 games

Bam Adebayo

As Norman Powell entered the list for the first time in his career, the Heat franchise big man will miss the All-Star Game for the second consecutive year

Stats: 18.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 44.4% field goals (34.7% threes), 40 games

NBA All-Star Game 2026 Western Conference snubs

Kawhi Leonard

Leonard is averaging a career-high in points (27.7), but the superstar emerged as the biggest snub of this year's All-Star festivities.

Stats: 27.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.1 steals, 49.6% field goals (39.5% threes), 34 games

James Harden

It appears that no Clipper will grace the hardwood of the Intuit Dome, as Harden is also a notable snub for the LA All-Star Game.

Stats: 25.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.1 assists, 41.9% field goals (34.7% threes), 44 games

Alperen Sengun

Houston is a top-four team in the West because of Sengun, but the Turkish star failed to be in the West roster and join Kevin Durant as the Rockets' representative.

Stats: 21.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.4 steals, 50.0% field goals (30.0% threes), 40 games

Lauri Markkanen

The Finnish sensation is averaging career numbers, but the Jazz's team success isn't convincing enough to send him to Los Angeles this mid-February.

Stats: 27.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 47.9% field goals (36.4% threes), 35 games

Austin Reaves

Being sidelined for a long time since Christmas Day due to a calf injury massively hindered Reaves from reaching his first career All-Star selection.

Stats: 26.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 50.7% field goals (36.5% threes), 23 games
